Terms and conditions

Our web site grants you non-exclusive limited license to use the JobRelay service by Highrise Digital Ltd (the “product”) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (the “license”) issued by our company.

1. JobRelay licensing

The JobRelay service is delivered through the use of our JobRelay WordPress Connector plugin which is added to your WordPress website.

The plugin is licensed under the GNU general public license.

1 license is required for each website to which jobs, originating from JobRelay are displayed on. A website is defined as either an instance of WordPress, or a site within a multisite WordPress instance.

2. Software updates

To make sure that the JobRelay service is always working, we release updates from time to time for the JobRelay Connector plugin. These updates are available to customers who have an active license and subscription with the JobRelay service.

Software updates are delivered via the WordPress administration screens. Plugin updates will show in the WordPress updates section and a plugin update can be actioned through these screens in the same way as any other plugin.

Updates are provided for a terms of either 1 month or 1 year, depending on the billing cycle used when purchased.

3. Delivery and access

After we have processed payment for your order of the JobRelay service, a member of the JobRelay integrations team will contact the email address used for purchase in order to integrate our connector plugin on your site.

3.1 WordPress access to your site

Temporary WordPress administrator access must be provided to your WordPress site in order to allow our integrations team to setup the plugin.

This should be provided by create a new WordPress user with the username of HighriseDigital and the email address of hello@highrise.digital. Once created this should trigger you site to email our integrations team to complete the setup.

3.2 File access to your website files

Sometimes it may be necessary to provide our integrations team with file access to the server on which your WordPress site resides.

You agree to provide write access to this server in the form of either FTP or sFTP, providing the JobRelay integrations team the necessary login credentials and procedures.

Our integrations team will only change files that are needed for JobRelay to function and any changes that need to be made will be outlined to you before hand.

3.3 Site backup/restore

JobRelay adds code to your website and there is always a risk this could conflict with the code running on your site. This could cause downtime and/or loss of data.

With this in mind, you agree that you have backed up your WordPress site on which the JobRelay integration is being carried out, before the JobRelay integrations team are given site access.

You also agree that you have the ability to restore a site should anything go wrong.

You agree that JobRelay will not be held responsible for any downtime of your site or loss of data that may happen.

We always recommend installing and configuring JobRelay in a staging or development site first, to check for any issues.

4. Ownership

You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership rights to any of our products. All products are property of Highrise Digital Ltd. They are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur out of the use or inability to use our products.

5. Site content

All this sites content including imagery and any documentation pages that are published are property of Highrise Digital Ltd. No content must be replicated without prior, written authorisation.

You agree that any assets you provide to us to host on this website as part of the JobRelay service are free from any copyright restrictions, or you have the correct licenses in place to host them on this site.

6. Support

Support is provided via email using the links in the support section of jobrelay.io.

7. Billing and cancellation

7.1 Billing cycle

Your subscription to the JobRelay service will be charged to your payment card used in your first purchase, recurring either 1 month or 1 year from the purchase data.

The length of your billing cycle will depend on the type of subscription that you choose at sign up for the service.

7.2 Payment methods

To use the JobRelay service you must provide a valid payment method. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not cancel your account, we may suspend your access to the service until we have successfully charged a valid payment method.

7.3 Updating your payment method

You can update your payment method by visiting the My Account page of the JobRelay website. Following any update, you authorise us to continue to charge the applicable Payment Method(s).

7.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your JobRelay subscription at any time. However, you require an active subscription to continue posting jobs via JobRelay.

Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial membership periods.

To cancel your service, please visit the Subscriptions section of the My Account page and follow the instructions there.

7.5 Changes to the price and subscription plans

We may change our subscription plans and the price of our service from time to time; however any price changes or other changes to your subscription plans will apply only to your next billing cycle.

Highrise Digital Ltd may on occasions send you email notifications related to your purchase and transactional email which may include notification of changes to pricing and subscription, details of new release and associated products and services.

Please note that by purchasing a subscription to the JobRelay service you agree to allow us to email you in this way.

9. Warranty

The JobRelay service is intended to work in the way that it was integrated by the JobRelay team after your purchase.

We do not guarantee it will function with all third-party plugins or with all web browsers. We are not responsible for any plugin compatibility conflicts that may occur on your site.

We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur as a result of using the JobRelay service.

10. Data collection

Highrise Digital Ltd will hold your billing information (name, mailing address, email address) for the purpose of billing you in the future. We do not store any credit card information on our servers. All credit card information is held by Stripe, our payment processor.

We also store the website address for which you are using the JobRelay service for. This is used to determine whether an active license and subscription is valid for that site.

Each time you send a job to your site via the JobRelay service, we store anonymised details of that job on our servers. We do this so that we can re-publish it in the future if necessary and to collect analytics data about the types of jobs our customers are posting for the purposes of improving our service offering to customers.

We do not collect any data about candidates which apply for jobs on your website.

Please note that by purchasing the JobRelay service, you agree to allow us to collect the above mentioned data and store it on our servers.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of the United Kingdom and any dispute or action arising from these terms shall be determined in accordance with these laws.

These terms are under exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

11.2 Changes to the terms and conditions

We reserve the right to change or modify the current terms and conditions with no prior notice.

12. Acceptance

By purchasing the JobRelay service you indicate that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions detailed on this page.
